Ciasa Odlana and Ciasa Puntin are immersed in the natural paradise of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and are the ideal starting point for easy walks, more demanding hikes, via ferrata and climbing. San Cassiano is also a real paradise for cyclists: Alta Badia offers over 80 km of trails for mountain bikers. San Cassiano also hosts the Museum Ladin Ursus Ladinicus, dedicated to the prehistoric bear of the Dolomites, of great interest for both children and adults.
Its central location in the Dolomiti Superski circuit makes the Alta Badia a first class ski area. On the Piz Sorega plateau experienced or novice snowboarders have at their disposal a snowpark with free access for all their moves. From Piz Sorega there are also two toboggan runs, one leading to the village and one across the Pralongià plateau to Armentarola. Ciasa Odlana and Ciasa Puntin are within walking distance of the ski slopes, reachable by free ski bus.
